Myzar's Features.

The RC5DES client is a shell-only program, i.e. to see its output you must have an open shell on your Workbench. Furthermore, displayed data is not so easy to read: one is normally interested in number of blocks still in input buffers, but finding this figure among the printed stuff isn't that quick. With Myzar you can choose whether to have clients' output displayed in a MUI listview or to have a smaller window where data is presented in more readable way using MUI guauges and text fields . Clearly, as a MUI application, Myzar can be iconified to save valuable space on your WB.

If you own a PowerPC board you may wish to run both a 68K and a PPC client: Myzar can help this, too, with its dual client support: you just provide the program with paths to both executables and Myzar will take care of everything. You will be able to control both clients singularly or as a whole via menu items: start, stop, fetch, flush and update will be only one mouse click away. Optionally, you can tell Myzar to update your buffers automatically when a connection to the Internet is detected. Iconify Myzar window and happily forget about the RC5 client!

Most important clients' options are configurable within Myzar.

Myzar also have a Built-in datatype-based sample player: Myzar can "Mooo" whenever a block is completed (some samples provided with the archive). Myzar was designed to be able to start immediately and without hassle for users who don't want to mess with thousands of parameters. But "power users" will be satisfied as well: as you can see from the picture above an from that below, Myzar offers an high degree of configurability.

For example you can customize Myzar's small window up to smallest details: turn on/off objects, change their aligment, their font and even the pieces of information they display!

Ever wondered how your clients are performing over time? Thanks to Jacek Rzeusky and its MUI custom class, Myzar now feautures a colorful keyrate chart based on log file analysis. Owning a PowerPC board? Share your log file between your PPC and 68K clients and see a chart of performance of your whole system (as in the image above)! Of course you can freely configure chart colors and background.

Moreover a statistics window will show you some numerical data about your system performance. Still not satisfied? Then we can add localization into seven languages (German, Dutch, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Suomi, plus English built-in) and a powerful Arexx port you can use to know about clients' status and control them within your scripts.
